Me....

Well the ME part of this blog is boring... to say the least. I should probably have named the blog.."The Demented Ramblings of a Sleep-Deprived Internet Addict"

That about sums me up in a nutshell... I spend waaay too much time on the computer..but hey...when you have a macbook pro...it's hardly surprising right?

I love my mac...up until last year I always had a pc...foolish foolish woman....how much I missed!!

So when I'm not at work... a boring, but necessary, chore... then I'm either on the internet, behind my digital SLR, or creating wallpapers in Photoshop......(Yes... some of them are Alex O'loughlin based)......a sad... but surprisingly pleasant existance.

Of course... what I should be doing...is writing my Honours Thesis... but I've lost interest... maybe I need to find a new topic..how about...."The Role of the Vampire Detective in Modern Day Policing"...wonder if my supervisor will like that....

Alex..

Well the "Alex" in the blog title is of course the fabulous Aussie Actor Alex O'Loughlin. It would be hard to be a fan of Moonlight and NOT be a fan of Alex. But I actually liked Alex.. BEFORE Moonlight. He was great in the Australian movie The Oyster Farmer..and again the movie August Rush...although I would have liked to have seen more of him in that....and then I was thrilled when he turned up in The Shield... and of course then came the role of the One and Only Mick St. John in the Cult Classic Moonlight.. which was just BRILLIANT as I mentioned before.

Alex lates venture Three Rivers.. has now sadly also been cancelled....I thought it was a good series...but I have to say that I preferred Moonlight.

As well as being a good actor... Alex is also undeniably gorgeous and thankfully he isn't opposed to taking his shirt off when the script demands it... LOL.

Moonlight....

Moonlight had me hooked from the first scene. That's NOT something that happens to me a lot... and to be honest I'm not really a fan of TV full stop... but ..anyway...for whatever reason.. I tuned in to the first episode of Moonlight...and that was it!!..... I was a fan...and I still am....

Why?

well firstly I guess because the entire cast was just amazing.. and they all "gelled"... the Chemistry was unbelievable particularly between the Alex O'loughin Character Mick St. John and his Mentor Jason Dohring's Josef Kosten.. and even more so between Mick St John and Sophia Myles Character, Beth Turner. The Chemistry between those two was out of this world...and it made their characters.. and the story...so much more believable.

The storylines were great...eerything about the series was brilliant. I just couldn't believe that it got cancelled....it made no sense then.... and STILL makes no sense now...
